About the Role:

Reporting to the Delivery Manager, you will support the initiation, development and execution of sub domain portfolio initiatives across the Pit to Customer value chain. This role is designed for a high performing, adaptive individual who thrives in complexity and is motivated by delivering meaningful, measurable outcomes.
You will work across the full initiative lifecycle, applying asset centric thinking and a strong focus on value delivery. By driving adoption, strengthening process design and uplifting governance maturity, you will help ensure consistent and structured delivery across a diverse digital portfolio. Collaboration and flexibility are central to this role, requiring close engagement with assets, technology partners and senior stakeholders to translate operational challenges into scalable digital opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive Pit to Customer digital initiatives end to end, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and digital process governance.
  • Facilitate workshops and lead structured opportunity framing, data analysis and problem solving engagements to identify asset needs and challenges.
  • Translate operational requirements into clear, value focused digital use cases and initiatives.
  • Identify, evaluate and recommend technologies that enable effective digital solutions within operational environments.
  • Collaborate closely with technology partners and asset stakeholders to support effective delivery and value realisation.
  • Rapidly assess emerging digital solutions and vendor proposals against operational context to determine fit, feasibility and value potential.
  • Provide PMO support to accelerate delivery, including business case development, valuation, technical coordination, stakeholder engagement and change management to support user adoption.
  • Build and maintain a strong network across the organisation, coordinating with leaders and stakeholders to manage risks, align plans and support successful outcomes.
  • Prepare clear reporting and presentations for senior and executive leadership audiences.

About You:

  • Tertiary qualification in engineering, mining, technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in digital project delivery and/or automation, integrating digital solutions into operational environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, combining data-driven analysis, systems thinking, and creativity.
  • Deep understanding of mining operational processes across the pit to customer value chain is essential, with the ability to credibly engage operators, engineers and asset leaders on process-level challenges.
  • Proven track record leading change and influencing teams and leaders to deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Solid technical and commercial acumen, with experience in opportunity evaluation and investment decision-making.
  • Results-driven, with the ability to translate insights into sustainable actions.
  • Proven ability to rapidly evaluate digital solutions and vendor proposals, balancing technical, commercial and operational judgment to make clear value assessments.
  • Availability to travel monthly to local assets; intermediate-advanced English for global collaboration.
